Homeschooling is very uniqe from the classroom setting because...hint, hint...you aren't trying to recreate that, but you most likely have multiple children at different ages and abilities. All sitting (maybe) and looking at you for direction.
And there is only one of you! {Or two if you count Dad.}
How in the world are you supposed to teach one child to read, the other how to write a paragraph, and another mathematical order of operations? And at the very same time!
I've got you. This was me for many years of homeschooling. But, I found some tips that helped me to actually accomplish our goals and keep my sanity too.
You'll walk away from this episode with ideas that you can begin to implement immediately and see results soon too!

You are most likely a first generation homeschool mom wishing and hoping that someday your children will see the sacrifice and the effort you put into homeschooling and discipling them.
And maybe part of you is praying that your children will grow up to be parents who want to homeschool their children...your grandchildren!
Today's guest, Kirsten Vossler, from Rejoicing in Motherhood podcast is going to give you a glimpse into what that looks like. Kirsten's parents homeschooled her and the impact it made on her life is still rippling.
As if that topic wasn't enough, Kirsten shares how she and her husband focus on discipleship in their home, along with the practicality of homeschooling with babies and toddlers in our arms.
Grab that load of laundry that needs to be folded and settle in for a positive episode that will keep you inspired!

Is fighting and arguing a regular occurence in your home?
Are you trying to maintain the peace in your home and encourage good relationships among your children?
Do you desire for your homeschool children to be the best of friends as adults?
Well, it all starts and ends with mom and dad. You get to choose what this looks like in your home during their childhood. Eventually, they will make their own choices, but those can be greatly affected by their upbringing.
I'm sharing from my own personal experience of changing the story when it comes to sibling relationships and how my husband and I helped to ensure great friendships among our children, all in today's episode.

"What grade are you in?"
It's such a super common question in our society. Most people don't even flinch when they hear it. And kids in public school quickly give an answer.
But, if you've ever asked a homeschooler this question, some of them freeze like a deer in headlights. Others may slowly give a reply. Either way, it isn't a super prevalent question in the homeschool world.
What does this mean for the homeschool mom though? Today's episode is going to walk you through the meaning behind grade levels and give you lots of ideas on how to approach this with your homeschooled children.

But, here you are: a homeschool mom. Not only are you responsible for all the regular motherhood duties, now you've got education on your to-do list.
I totally get it. It was never a part of my plan. And yet, here I am, a homeschool mom who wouldn't trade this role for anything.
And I want you to come that very same conclusion. Today's episode will draw on my own personal journey in hopes that it will help you to embrace the homeschool lifestyle.
