As a homeschool mom, your health and fitness probably falls pretty low on the to-do list. There is the assumption that it can wait…or that it will be done later. How is that working out for you?
Today, I had a candid and honest conversation with Evgenia Arasim of At Nourished Motherhood to discuss this exact thing. She explains the common objections and obstacles that a homeschool mom has when it comes to making health and fitness a priority. And then she covers how to overcome them!
You’ll walk away from this episode realizing that you aren’t alone and that there is a simple and sustainable way to make the changes in your health that you know would be best for you…and your family!
Pop those earbuds in and go for a walk and we’ll see to it that you feel encouraged at the end of all those steps!

One of the reasons many of us homeschool is so that we can instill our Christian faith into our children. Oftentimes, we get busy with all that is on our to-do list, activities, and keeping up with the curriculum. And we lose that focus.
After raising children to their young adult years, I found some simple, yet very effective ways to incorporate faith into our daily lives. Today, I’m sharing these 5 tips so that you can make this a priority during these years of home education.
Let’s be intentional about passing on our faith to our children. It not only builds them up, but it will encourage your Christian walk too.

It's inevitable that seasons in life will come and go. Some feel all consuming and our mind assumes it will always be this way.
That's how the years of homeschooling my children felt. Every day was full...of really good things...and I fell into bed exhausted each night.
Then suddenly, our homeschoolers grow up and they are ready to move out. And we wonder where the years went and how our heart will adjust.
I want to speak into that today. Whether you have a little brood of young ones or are a few years further down the road of motherhood, I think you'll find some wisdom to tuck away in this episode.
It's been a year of releasing my young adult children and I hope that my experience is an encouragement to you. And that it resonates with your heart.
You may need a tissue for this episode...just a warning. So go ahead and grab that and settle in for some heart to heart mom talk.

Did you know that homeschooling is so much more than the curriculum and lessons? If not, now you do!
If we check everything off our to-do list and finish every workbook, but we've lost the relationship with the children in our home, then the point has been missed. Education is great, but at what cost?
Leslie Nunnery of Teach Them Diligently is here today to share encouragement for the mom in the trenches. She aims to encourage and equip families to raise their children to love and serve God.

Everywhere you turn in the homeschool world, things are focused on your children. And that is how it should be...until the excitement wears off.
It's like all veteran homeschool moms realize this after a few years. And we sometimes try and talk about it, but can easily forget our own journey to enjoying homeschooling.
Over and over, I hear three excuses from the moms that I work with and I know these are holding you back from really enjoying this life you get to live of home education.
I promise that this episode will be the pep talk that you've been needing. Today begins the first day of things turning around in your homeschool.
