The homeschool years are ripe with the time and freedom to give our children incredible insight. One of those places is often overlooked, but really important to them growing into young adults and leaving our home.
Today, I want to share my family's journey to discovering our children's gifts, talents, and abilities and the outcome of doing this.
I think you will see yourself in my reason behind putting this in a place of importance in our home. And I am excited about sharing the strategies we used so that you can see amazing outcomes in your children as well.

We're going here today. This is definitely jumping into the deep end, but conversations like this need to happen.
As homeschool parents, we can only make fully informed decisions about our children's education when we see the full picture.
And my hope is that today's episode gives you some perspective and direction for your own research. Follow that up with a conversation with your husband so the two of you are in agreement. Then move forward in your decision.
I may have to run and hide after this episode {kidding!} but my opinion and perspective comes from many years of homeschooling and it has served my family well. I hope that it either helps confirm your conviction or gives you a different view on this topic.

Sometimes, the grass looks greener on the other side. This can especially happen when our homeschool days get hard.
But just know, that even on difficult days or tough seasons, you've made this decision to homeschool for many reasons. And one of those may include what you are keeping them from.
That's the topic of this episode: what they are "missing" out on. I think you'll see yourself in many of these examples.
I'm cutting straight to the chase today with the intention of solidifying your homeschool decision. I hope it inspires and encourages you...and maybe lights a little fire under you too!

As women, we enjoy having friendships with one another. And as a homeschool mom, there is something extra sweet about friendships with other homeschooling moms.
It doesn't usually happen overnight though. And it can take quite a bit of intentionality to even find "your people." But once you do...it's an amazing feeling.
I want to share with you the importance of making friendships with other homeschool moms. And how to find other moms to connect with if this is an area that you'd like to grow in.
Grab that load of laundry that needs folding and give this episode a listen! I'm looking forward to hearing about how it helps you create some friendships.

You've heard it being talked about in homeschool circles. But wonder what it actually looks like. And how it could translate into your home.
Today, I am joined by Lyndsey Mimnagh of Treehouse Schoolhouse, to discuss gentle learning while you homeschool the younger years.
Lyndsey is a homeschool mom of four children. Before motherhood, she had a career in children's ministry and special needs education. Her home education centers around living books and ideas, hands-on learning, nature exploration, and biblical discipleship.
In this podcast episode, we dive into creating an atmosphere within your home that will help your children develop a love of learning.
I invite you to curl up with your favorite cozy drink and a notebook and get ready to be inspired and encouraged.
